Passing via what is known as cedar forests (known with its Barbarian monkeys) and valleys and spend the night in a desert camp. You will also Explore the gorges and cross the most winding road in Morocco on your way to the red city Marrakech.
Itinerary of 4 days tour from Fes
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley & Merzouga
Our 4 days tour from Fes begins with traveling through Midelt (the capital of apples) and the gorgeous Ziz Valley. We’ll also have a stop at Ifrane. It is also called Switzerland of Morocco thanks to its clean and green environment and parks. Cedar Forest is the largest woodland area in Morocco, located between Azrou town and Ifrane. On your way, you will enjoy the breathtaking Hight Atlas Mountains’ landscapes.
Having lunch is followed by driving our vehicle through the wonderful Tizi Ntalghamt pass and Ziz Gorges. Before we reach Erfoud and Rissani, you will enjoy the beautiful views of Ziz Valley on your way. After you arrive at Merzouga, you will be welcomed by having a glass of Saharan mint tea and check-in in to a riad.
Day 2: Merzouga Camel Trekking
Day two of the 4 days tour from Fes is devoted to exploring the Merzouga area. Khamlia village, where Gnawa people live, is the first place you’ll visit. Here, you will have the chance to meet some nomad people, observe their style life, and listen to their unique music. After having the delicious Berber Pizza, the journey continues towards Rissani, encircled by over three hundred fortified towers (ksar). Rissani is also known for its large souks.
In these souks (traditional markets), you will stroll and observe its interesting local merchants. After that, we will make our way back to Merzouga to enjoy the fascinating sunset over the high dunes riding camels. You will camp in a nomad tent where you will be served dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges & Dades Valley
On day number three of the tour, we’ll get in the early morning to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the Saharan high dunes. We will trek camels back to Merzouga where you’ll have a warm shower before we head to Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges where lunch will be served. After that, we will drive through Dades Valley. We will stop to visit the majestic sandcastles Toes Monkeys (fascinating rock formations). The night will be spent at a riad in Dades valley overlooking the fascinating landscapes.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou & Marrakech
Today, the tour continues toward Ouarzazate traveling through Dades Valley. On our way, we’ll cross the Road of Thousand Kasbahs where you have a break to take some pictures and enjoy the panoramic views. The next place to visit is Kalaat M’Gouna, nicknamed the Valley of Roses.
We’ll visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah during our journey. It is an ancient kasbah that was built by Ethami El Glaoui. He is one of the prominent Berber chiefs in the 19th century. Ait Ben Haddou is a home for many Glaoui tribes. The tour continues through Tizi N’Tichka pass which is 2260m high over the High Atlas Mountains. Before we arrive at Marrakech, you’ll have the chance to explore the process of Argan oil’s fabrication in the Berber women’s cooperative.
After reaching Marrakech, the accommodation will be at the hotel or we transfer you to the airport. So, our 4 days tour from Fes is over.
