Day 1: Sidi Naji

Departure by foot from our Oasis Camp into the desert. The Sidi Naji sand dunes are located between sand dunes and desert plateaus on the first day. After a day of challenging desert trekking, the campground is in the middle of the Erg (dunes).

Day 2: Erg Ezzahar

After traversing a significant desert flat, the trip continues to the spectacular Erg Ezzahar dune (Howling). This expanse of sand dunes provides a beautiful perspective of the entire dry Drâa river. This is the real Sahara, just as we picture it. sleeping outside or setting up camp in the middle of the sand dunes.

Day 3: Erg Smar

The camel trip through the desert continues as we make our way to the dunes, where we will camp. Enjoy a delicious tajine for dinner while watching the sunset on the dune. The night is beautiful, and the feeling is strong.

Day 4: Erg Chigaga

We depart the Erg Smar sand dunes and hike to the Erg Chegaga dunes, the tallest in Morocco. The aura of nomadism, between simplicity and fellowship on this final evening in the desert. The huge Erg Chigaga dunes are where the camp is located.

Day 5: M’Hamid

The next day, after breakfast, travel back to M’hamid in a 4×4 vehicle from the Erg Chigaga camp.

We have a cook and camel driver on staff. Camel transports all the logistics and equipment needed for hiking (mattresses, tents, blankets, kitchen, etc.).
